Today we are celebrating World Book Day in school by inviting children to make the choice that best suits them: dress up or dress down, come as you are, or wear what you like but come and celebrate with us!

We hosted a book sale at the end of the day - thank you to all the parents for your wonderful donations. Thank you also to the Pupil Parliament and PTA for supporting the sale in the Community Room.

Kyla in year 6 was the winner of our school's 'Design a new book name' competition. Thank you to everyone who entered - our pupil parliament leads for English, Emmie and Finn, had the tough job of choosing the title out of so many wonderful ones. Thank you to Mrs Isherwood for organising such a wonderful day that really does celebrate our love of reading and stories.

We also welcomed into school The Woodstock Bookshop who ran the world book token exchange for a book in the library.  The children were very excited to choose a new book.
