To launch our Tomb Raiders topic each class visited The Oxfordshire Museum in Woodstock to enjoy an Egyptian workshop. It was lovely for the children to explore Egyptian artefacts, write in hieroglyphs and problem solve to discover how to move building materials along the River Nile.
In Art, we are producing an Egyptian pharaoh, whereby the children will be using their profile to design a headdress, jewellery and make up. Today we explored using different mediums before selecting a preference for our final version.
