Primary Engineer Awards 2024
On Thursday 13th June, three children collected their awards at the official award ceremony in Southampton. The Leaders Award from Primary Engineer is a National Competition that asks 'If you were an engineer what would you do?' Pupils from the ages 3-19 take part all across the U.K. All ideas were graded by professional engineers, with the shortlisted entries going to a judging panel where the Highly Commended and winners are crowned. This is an incredible achievement as the competition saw over 71,000 pupils take part!
After the judging panel, the University of Southampton select one of the designs each year to turn into a prototype! We were delighted to hear that we had winners and runners up!
