Year 5 and 6 students got to grips with their new topic War and Peace on Tuesday 25 April with a full day of World War Two related activities.

The children were put through their military paces in a series of team building activities, tasked with baking potato cookies and challenged to crack an Enigma-style code.

The dressed-up Falcons, Red Kites and Kestrels also learnt about propaganda, evacuation and rationing throughout the fun-filled day.
