KS2 enjoyed an exciting STEM talk today from two Design Engineers from Owen Mumford in Woodstock. Owen Mumford is a global leader in medical device design and manufacture. The children heard all about the life as a medical engineer and the skills needed to fulfil such a job. 
The highlight for the children was the testing stage of the manufacturing process, when the engineers tested the suitability of packaging for their product by dropping eggs into different materials. The children predicted what might happen and enjoyed seeing testing in action.
